Christians have long had a bizarre relationship with Halloween. Some Christian celebrate it all out, others ban it, others allow their kids to dress up and get candy, but refuse to use the word Halloween.

This is why I was shocked when I discovered that Christian Halloween songs exist, and I have no idea how to feel being an adult who discovered this for the first time. Some are actually not awful, others are….definitely “unique”:

Jesus Freak (Halloween Remix)

Not gonna lie, this is probably one of the biggest jams on this list. They took the flavor of Jesus Freak perfectly and gave it that Halloween Vibe. If you’re throwing a Christian “Harvest Party”, and need a good beat for the background, nothing beats some Halloween-vibed Newsboys:

No Monsters

Just as much of a song, as it is an experience. We get Carman’s trademark talking to a beat, the look of an old horror film, and final battle of the Bible vs. classic monsters, and so much more.

But let’s be honest, once that chorus kicks in, its gonna be stuck in your head for the rest of the night.

Monster Mash (Christian Remix)

Yes, surprisingly this exists.

Did Christians ask for a remix of Monster Mash? No.

Do we need a remix of Monster Mash? Also no.

Did this still get made anyway? Yes.

Zombie

You know it’s a rarity when a Christian band releases a music video that is definitely too scary for children to watch. Guaranteed that when Family Force 5 released this music video there were a lot of upset parents, but a Zombie-themed Christian song makes it perfect for the Halloween/”Harvest” season.
