Utah Gov. Cox Receives Written Complaint To Change “Foul, Dirty” Last Name

In a recent tweet, Utah Governor Spencer Cox is giving his thoughts towards some criticism he received lately, that his last name is too similar to the word “cock”, and he needs to change it immediately, or face protest from “thousands of Utahns”
The anonymous note starts with “I don’t know if you know this, but when people say your surname it sounds like the word cock”, and the continues on, saying that “this is not a communist dictatorship…we do not accept sick jokes to run rampant in our civil institutions.”
The writer threatens that if he does not choose to change his name at their request, he will face a recall.
