If theres one thing I love, it’s when churches are innovating, and trying new things to minister to the community. Whether or not it brings people into the pews, when it creates fun and positivity for the community, it can change lives and lead into moments of evangelism.

One church in Jasper, Alabama was sick of the same old boring Fall Festival/Halloween event, and decided to make a change:

As someone who volunteered multiple years for a churches “Harvest Festival”, I saw how much work the organizers put into these events, and how frustrating it can be when few people show up.

This just shows the incredible difference we can make in our communities if we come together with other churches and collaborate.

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.

Romans 12: 4-6

As individuals, we all have strengths and weaknesses, but that goes for communities as well. Some churches may be gifted in one area, while the church down the road has giftings in a totally different area. When they combine their gifts, that how we can change the world.
