Game of Thrones is Back

Well…kind of. The prequel to Game of Thones, “House of the Dragon” is set to be released in 2022, but we don’t have a specific date quite yet, but get excited nerds, because there’s gonna be a full 10 episodes for you to binge on HBOMax.

The Queen’s Jubilee

Her Majesty the Queen will officially be crowned the first monarch to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, which honors 70 years of sitting on the throne. She was given the title on February 6, 1952 when she was only 25 years old. Rumors are swirling that even with Covid still running rampant, the local pubs will be open late to allow the British people to celebrate.

Not One, But Two Total Lunar Eclipses for America

On May 16th and November 8th, a full lunar eclipse will be visible to parts of Americas, Australia, Europe and Africa. The next total lunar eclipse isn’t happening until 2025.

The World Cup

Every four years the World Cup takes over the televisions of nearly every household in the world (Well, except America). Countries of the world are currently competing in qualifying matches, and in 2022 we’ll see which country is the best at soccer, hosted by the nation of Qatar.

We’re Finally Getting an “Enchanted” Sequel

You’ll have to wait until Fall 2022, but the sequel to the popular 2007 live-action Disney princess movie, “Disenchanted” will be on Disney+ this coming year.

If you haven’t heard, in 2020 the suicide hotline was given a shorter number of “988” to make support easier to reach for those who are struggling. In July 2022, all phone carriers must enable a text option for 988, so those who are at risk of suicide can find help through text.
